๐ƒ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” - The Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Augusto Jรบnior Trindade, participated in an interview on the "Government Page" programme, where he presented the Government's priorities for the development of the commerce and industry sectors, as well as the measures being implemented to strengthen the market, support the private sector, and promote sustainable economic growth in Timor-Leste.

During the interview, His Excellency stated that the Government's key priorities for the commercial sector are to ensure the availability of essential goods, strengthen the market system, promote fair competition, support local production, and create a business-friendly environment that encourages investment and economic development.

His Excellency also highlighted the importance of digital transformation through the expansion of online public services, including digital business licensing, improvements to the market information system, and the development of digital platforms that facilitate access to information for entrepreneurs and investors.

At the conclusion of the interview, His Excellency encouraged entrepreneurs and business operators to continue investing, embracing innovation, and complying with national regulations.

He reaffirmed the Government's commitment to working in partnership with the private sector to build a stronger, more competitive, and more inclusive economy capable of creating employment opportunities and promoting Timor-Leste's sustainable industrial development.

The "Government Page" programme is led by the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Agio Pereira, and is produced in partnership with Radio and Television Timor-Leste (RTTL) and the national media, with the aim of strengthening government transparency, accountability, and public access to information on the Government's key policies and decisions.
