Dili, July 18, 2025 – The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira, accompanied by the Director of Internal Trade and the Head of the Market Development Department, held a meeting with the National Association of Young Timorese Entrepreneurs (ANJET) at the Star World hall in Bairo-Pite, Dili.

The purpose of the meeting was to listen to the concerns faced by these young entrepreneurs in strengthening the private sector and to explore how to create synergy between the Government and the private sector for economic diversification in Timor-Leste.

In addition, a request was made to review regulations and mechanisms that could pave the way for export and import access to foreign markets.
