Minister of Commerce and Industry Nino Pereira Visits QUES KEV to Support Local Industrialization and Innovation

Dili, July 8, 2025 – As part of efforts to support local industrial development in Timor-Leste, the Minister of Commerce and Industry (MCI), Nino Pereira, paid an official visit to the QUES KEV Graphic Industry, located on Avenida Almirante Américo Tomás, Colmera, Dili.

QUES KEV is a newly established company in the printing services sector, created through the initiative of Timorese entrepreneurs. It prioritizes the use of modern technology, affordable pricing, and the ability to meet customer needs at the national level.

Affordable Printing Services with Professional Quality

The Director of QUES KEV, Paizinho Tilman, stated that the company was founded last year with the hope of providing services that benefit the Timorese community.

“We try to offer good prices and quality products because we’re just starting, and high prices can be a barrier,” said Paizinho Tilman.

During the visit, Minister Nino Pereira praised the initiative and expressed national pride in Timorese capabilities:

“This industry proves that Timorese people can master technology, from operating machines to maintenance. With good service, the company can build consumer trust,” stated H.E. Nino Pereira.

Minister Nino emphasized that the visit is part of MCI’s efforts to support economic diversification initiatives and to strengthen micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with local value.

“We need to trust in the hands of Timorese people. QUES KEV can become a model for sustaining local businesses with quality and innovation,” said the Minister.

QUES KEV uses modern printing machines to produce promotional materials, institutional documents, banners, posters, catalogs, and other visual products in various models and formats.
