Minister of Commerce and Industry directly observes the espresso coffee production process after AIFAESA suspension

Díli, July 4, 2025 – His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira, accompanied by the Director of Human Resources and the Head of the Department of Communication and Information Technology, visited the company Robicco, Lda, located in Tíbar, Municipality of Liquiçá.

The objective of this visit was for Minister Nino Pereira to directly observe the espresso coffee production activity, which had been suspended by AIFAESA for almost three months in order to improve the hygiene conditions of the facility. “We know that espresso coffee is in demand in the market, and many consumers are eagerly awaiting the resumption of espresso coffee production.”

To address these concerns, AIFAESA has reauthorized Robicco to resume its espresso coffee production activities.

During the visit, the MCI Minister also invited the company to participate in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025, an international-scale event that will take place from August 28 to September 1, 2025, at the Dili Convention Center (CCD).
