His Excellency, the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Jรบnior Trindade, accompanied by His Excellency, the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Malaysia, Mr. Lisualdu Gaspar, visited the Community Mangrove Conservation on Tanjung Surat Island, in Desaru, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Monday, February 24.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the bonds of friendship between ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste. During the visit, the delegates participated in the planting of mangrove trees on Tanjung Surat Island, symbolizing cooperation and friendship among Southeast Asian nations.
The activity was organized by Malaysiaโs Ministry of Investment, Commerce , and Industry.
