Ministry of Commerce and Industry Holds Seminar on Trade Development Policy and Strategy in Manufahi Municipality

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI), through the Directorate-General of Trade, held a municipal seminar on Trade Development Policy and Strategy in the Turiscai Administrative Post, Manufahi Municipality.

The objective of the seminar was to inform and raise public awareness about the guidelines, priorities, and strategic measures to boost trade development, improve the business environment, and promote sustainable economic growth.

The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Jorge Ferreira, Director of the National Directorate of Human Resources (DNRH), who also represented His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

In his speech, the DNRH Director stated that this seminar activity is a means for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to continue disseminating and sharing information related to economic development, particularly in the area of trade.

Meanwhile, the seminar on the dissemination of the Trade Development Policy and Strategy was officially opened by Mr. Aleixo de Deus, Secretary III of the President of the Municipal Authority.

The speaker for the seminar was Mr. Yakobus de Jesus, and it was moderated by Mr. Jorge Ferreira, Director of the National Directorate of Human Resources-MCI.

Participants in the Municipal Seminar came from: the Administrator of the Turiscai Administrative Post (APA), positions of National Director and USD Manufahi Director from MCI and Ministerial line sectors, communities, Suco Chiefs, Aldeia Chiefs, Police, Veterans, and youth.
