MCI SIGNS CONTRACTS FOR NEW MUNICIPAL MARKET CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN LAUTÉM AND ERMERA

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) signed contracts with the winning companies for the implementation of new market construction projects in the Municipalities of Lautém and Ermera. The official ceremony took place in the office of the MCI Minister, at Fomento Mandarin, Dili.

The companies that won the contracts are: Divita CO Unipessoal, Lda from Timor-Leste, which will construct the Lautém Municipal market, and Henan Fifth Construction Group, LTD from China, which will construct the Ermera Municipal market.

These municipal market projects will contribute to the modernization of commercial infrastructure at the local level, increasing accessibility, safety, and environmental conditions for vendors and consumers.

The winning companies will be responsible for implementing the projects according to technical and safety standards, with regular supervision. These projects are scheduled to begin according to the calendar agreed upon in the contract.
