Indonesian Delegation Participates in DITE 2025 and Pays Courtesy Call on the Deputy Prime Minister

The Minister and Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira and Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, accompanied the Indonesian delegation that took part in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025, to pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Affairs, and Minister of Rural Development and Community Housing, Eng. Mariano Assanami Sabino, at the Government Palace in Dili.

Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Industry, Dr. Faisol Riza, met with the Deputy Prime Minister in a cordial encounter, highlighting their shared history as friends and activists — pro-democracy in Indonesia and pro-independence in Timor-Leste at that time.

Likewise, Lieutenant General Bachtiar Utome, along with his delegation from the Himpunan Kerukunan Tani Indonesia (HKTI), paid his respects to the Deputy Prime Minister before returning to Indonesia.
