Closing of the Business Forum 2025

His Excellency the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, officially closed the Business Forum 2025 under the theme “Sustainable Investment and Industrialization”, held as part of the Dili International Trade Expo 2025 (DITE), at the GMN Multi-purpose Hall in Bebora, Dili, on Friday (29/08/2025).

Vice Minister Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade expressed his gratitude to the participants for their active discussions and attention to the presentations delivered by the panelists, noting that throughout the day the forum succeeded in motivating entrepreneurs and investors to strengthen, together with national and international partners, the strategic vision for the development of the country’s economy.

The Forum featured high-level dialogue on investment, with engaging topics such as: Cambodia’s Economic Integration with ASEAN; Experiences and Opportunities from the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia; Trade and Economic Cooperation in ASEAN by the Vice Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Indonesia; Growth of the Private Sector and Economic Development by CCI-TL; Strategy and Policy on Foreign Direct Investment by the Executive Director of Trade and Investment of Timor-Leste; Strategy, Macroeconomic Perspective and the Financial System by BNCTL; along with other interesting presentations from entrepreneurs, investors, and government representatives.
